oil pressure issue 1999 xj

Default oil pressure issue 1999 xj
Ok so when driving my oil pressure will get up to 50 and while at idle it will drop as low as 25 idk wat is going on with it help please..

Sorry new Jeep owner I've never had a car do this before..I just bought it and just trying to get everything in tip top..

buy a haynes manuel and it tells you what the specs are including normal oil pressure

Idle (600) rpm 13 paid and above 1600 rpm 37 to 75 psi

yea when mine is hot it idles at 20 psi and normal driving is 50-60psi. that is normal for any jeep engine.

I have the Haynes manual and didn't know the specs for oil pressure was in there. Duh! Have to look at it closer.

If you have the opportunity try and get a shop manual, a lot more info in it as opposed to the Haynes manual
