i have always noticed that my oil pressure gauge fluctuates alot on my 2000 xj, from 0 to 50 +. wheeling the other day my friend said his tj does the same thing and he said its the sending unit malfunctioning. I am sure that i do have oil pressure other wise i wouldve heard some rattling by now. any insight or info on this?

 

Check with a mechanical gauge to be sure.

okay ill do that today, it runs real smooth and isnt overheating so i assume thats wat it is.
