So maybe someone can help me. My oil pressure sending unit blew up in a coworkers driveway. replaced at autozone and it turns out they don't sell the right one. When I turned on the Heep it redlined at 100 and stayed there. I guess its just the idiot gauge sending unit. Ran to oreilies and got the right one. Now it's constantly on 60. Hot cold no difference. What could be wrong?? Could I really have 60psi or another dud gauge?

Try one from Jeep. I have had a number of crap aftermarket oil pressure sending units. Because of that, I won't buy them myself or recommend them. Worth the extra $25 to buy the dealer part here.
Mine has always set at 60. Of course there is some fluctuation while driving so it is not 'stuck' at 60. IT has been this way through 2 sending units so I'm happy with it. Realize though that these gauges are general estimates and not exact numbers. If you're really concerned, have your pressure checked by a shop. IDK if a parts house will have the gauge but maybe.
