I have a problem with my XJ I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport and the oil pressure gauge isn't working and the check gauges light is on,I replaced the oil sending unit and it corrected the problem for a few hours and it is doing it again any ideas as to what I need to do? please help!!!

 

If the sensor fixed it first, see if you can warranty or just get another and see if that on might have a defect in it. Another problem may simply be a connection problem

I bought the Jeep about 2 months ago I have a 1992 Cherokee Laredo as well been a Jeep-man for awhile now.

I know the engine was replaced with a engine with 110,000 on it so I'll try another sending unit and if that don't work take her to the shop and get her fixed.I know if I get the bug's out she will be a very good vehicle.

 

They are great! I had a 92, a 94, and now an 01 and have loved them all. They really are simple and reliable for what they can be bought for. I am sure that you will get it figured out soon enough
