Default oil pressure gage readings

While installing a new thermostat and burping the system of air, I noticed that my oil pressure gage was a little less than half on the dial. When I would rev the motor (during the coolant burp) it would go back up to the mid point, but once the RPM's settled down it was around 30 percent. Does this indicate a problem?

Thanks- Rick

That's normal, oil pressure increases with rpm.

Thank you sir- appreciate that. Was concerned it wasn't in the middle of the gage from the start, but I won't worry about it. Thanks!
