Default Oil Pressure Fluctuation

so i tossed it in 4wd today and took a nice little ride down some rutted out, rocky dirt roads today. had a great time with the kids but towards the end i noticed that my oil pressure was fluctuating between 50 and 70psi. when i took my foot off the gas and waited about 5-10 seconds it would drop and when i got back on it it would come back up to 70ish. prior to today ive NEVER seen ANY kind of variance in oil pressure, always 60psi on the button. any ideas? definitely didn't hit anything under it, checked for any signs that i did ( scratches, fluid, cracks)

also....

i noticed when i take it out of 4wd the handle moves to 2wd fine but the cluster light for 4wd stays on. any idea of what is going on there?

most likely the oil pressure sending unit. go to autozone or advanced and get a mechanical gauge and see if it is fluctuating on that. if it shows normal on the mechanical guage its your oil pressure sending unit. their about 40 bucks and easy to replace. their really common to go bad
