Oil pressure drop
I am kinda new to jeep and vehicles all together I know some basic stuff but not sure what the problem is. I have a 1991 cherokee sport its a standard , it has a small oil leak but the main problem is when I drive and get the engine warm then go to shift gears or push the clutch in to coast down a hill the oil pressure gauge drops and if I drive for 30 or more minutes straight I start to lose throatle responce. I topped the oil off and it still does it I am just at a lose as to what it could be. someone please help! it makes me scared to drive it long distnaces and therefore limits my range of plaes I can go wheeling. thanks alot hope someone knows that my problem is and how to fix it.

What are the readings on the gauge both when it's cold and after 30 minutes of driving when it drops? The gauge reading will drop off significantly after 30 minutes of driving, as the oil has become hot and thinned out some.
You should be somewhere around 40-45psi cold idle, and 20psi or so hot idle (after your 30 minute drive).
Not sure what to tell you on the throttle response...could be one of many possibilities....failing throttle positioning sensor, perhaps the idle air control is messing up (as is my case and it messing with my throttle response a little bit as well).

when I first start the engine the oil pressure reads almost 80 which I know is really wrong cause things would be bursting then it drops to about 20 after I drive for 30 minutes.

Mine starts at 60 psi then drops to 40 at idle the will go back to 60 at around 1500-2000 rpms. When is the last time you changed your oil and what viscosity did you use
