not sure what the problem is but, when im driving my oil pressure gage reads 80 and when im idling it reads 60. i know this isnt right. so any idea what the problem could be?

 

I would verify what the oil pressure is first. Pick up an inexpensive mechanical oil pressure gauge and attach it where the oil pressure sensor is. This way you can verify the gauge is actually working.

The gauge itself and/or the sensor can go bad.

thats prettyy good oil pressure in colder weather oil gets thicker thats why you change viscositys

 

its like that during hot weather also, so i know something wasnt right.
