Alright guys heres the question what is considered a safe oil pressure for our xj's!?!?!
The reason i ask is i recently pulled the oil pressure sending unit plug cleaned it out and plugged it back in.....Now ever since i did that the oil pressure at idle is about 15-20psi and only goes up to about 60psi when driving (about 4k in rpm's) any help would be greatly appr....

thats fine..i think around 10 is the lowest id feel comfortable at. the sending units are known to go bad...i replaced mine ad it idles around 45psi when cold and 30psi when warmed up. later.
