oil pressure ?

I have a 01 and it runs awesome with 180k. I am curious to what would cause my oil pressure to run 65-80 psi constantly. been this way since i bought it a year ago. don't know what was run for oil and filter before(most likly crap) but I run 5w30 maxlife with lucas full synthetic stabilizer and don't lose a drop. ideas?

bad sending unit. should be lower after it warms up

Yeah sending unit, mine runs at that until I hit 180 or so then it drops down to normal.

it really don't drop. you are all saying it will hit close to 80 till warm then drop? i'm cool with that long as I am not 'wheeling with my kids in carseats wtih a grenade up front
