Default Oil Pan Gasket (will it ever end)

well its been a week now that i have had in this oil pan Gasket change,

Today i got everything finished up, and put everything back togeather. Took it for a About a 15 minute Drive, then parked it, and now Worse then ever its pouring oil out near the Rear Gasket. The oil isnt dripping off the Pan anymore, but now its Dripping off the Housing Plate over the Fly Wheel. I looked up there and it seems to be comming out the Rear Gasket.

During the Install, i could see every part of the Gasket but the Rear one( its impossible to see behind the Fly Wheel Housing Plate. Also every part of the Gasket has Bolts to hold it in place, but the Rear one, it just sits in there.

Any advice/Tips on how to Install the Pan/Gasket back into place without having the Rear Gasket fall out of place

Katie.

Did you get the one piece or 2 piece pan gasket?

Cool

Hi-Tac contact cement. It is sold at Napa Auto parts and other well know auto parts stores. Just completely clean the oil pan flange and apply a leberal amount completely around the oil pan gasket and place onto the pan. Let is dry for at least an hour and check it by gently pushing on it with your finger. It should stay in place. I have been using Hi-Tac for 30 years and it has never let me down. When you go to put the oil pan up you could add some black RTV to the rear seal for added sealing.

I bought a one peice felpro gasket that fit miserably this area... installed it anyways, had the same issue as you.
Went and bought another (exact same part number) this one fit like a gem, and has been not leaked since it went in (approx. 8 months?)

The tack stuff mentioned above sounds neat, I like grey rtv, sets up pretty quick and is oil tolerant.
