I have a '96 Cherokee Classic and it has a slight knock to it and I checked the oil andit was good and when i got to where i was going(an hour away) the oil light was flashing so I checked the oil and was a tiny bit low but not down to the add mark. so i just topped it off to be sure and came home later on and when i pulled into my driveway it started flashing again so i checked the oil again and it was still at safe. So not sure what is going on here. really only seems to be doing it when im at a stop or going really slow almost at a coast. please help me

 

Check the pressure with a mechanical gauge. The pump may need replacing, or you could have too much bearing clearance. JMO
