Default Oil Dipstick Tube Install...

Hey there, I'm new to this site and was just lookin for some info, perhaps step by step instructions of how to replace a dipstick tube that is starting to show signs of corrosion and buildup. I've done a slight amount of research and what i've gotten from that is that in a 1990 4L Jeep Cherokee the tubes themselves are not threaded in they are just pressured in...do or do nots?
Any help will be greatly apppriciated!
Thanks
-Paul

I actually am just about to put the dipstick tube back into my 89 engine, and the machine shop just said that when reinstalling it just stick a bit of rtv on the top, and shove it in there.... i have not actually done it yet, but thats just what they said. As far as removing it goes, there is 1 or 2 bolts you have to remove... and it should just come out.
