What Gauge wire is it? Especially the wire that goes to the downstream 02 sensor. Mine got ripped out and now it runs like garbage. The plan was to get new wire in there. I tried going to the wreckers and taking a harness form another xj. I hooked it all up and it still didnt fix the problem.

i suck at electrical stuff, but its wheeling season again and i can't stand it anymore.

a complete guess would have me answering at anywhere between an 12 and 18 ga??? try going thru a local parts store- see if they have the info?
