OEM to aftermarket fogs

Default OEM to aftermarket fogs
Just got my 2000 XJ, but the fogs on it are completely rotted out. Just wondering if I can use the existing wiring for the OEM fogs to run aftermarket? Kept the connections from the old OEMs and am handy with a soldering iron etc. Do I need to be carefull of wattage etc?

if the new light are the same wattage, Yes. If higher wattage add a relay to the circut.
