I would say Rockauto.com and I believe they ship to the UK.

In 2001 NTK was the OEM O2 sensor maker.

I believe NTK o2's were used from the factory. Rockauto probably has them but you'll have to find out which o2('s) are bad, i.e. upstream or downstream and which bank they're on.

Is there an emissions decal on the upper radiator support, what does it say? Why don't you slide under it and have a look?

Hey mate , don`t know if they are the same but I just went through this with my daughters 98 t.j., It was running like garbage sputtering almost like it wanted to stall but wouldn`t and then it would clear up, and no cel..and be ok untill you let the clutch out and same thing again., Anyway I decided it was the 02 sensors and started searching for the best price and part after some research I decided to go with denso exact replacements . The jeep only had two one right by the exhaust manifold (upstream) and the downstream was by the cat converter.. I got the best price from amazon.com and shipping was free.. I believe the total was $72.00 for the two of them.. Installed them and truck is running perfect!! don`t know if it helps but that is where I found the best price.. Cheers!! and good luck.. Seven

well it is dark here (Long Island, New York) but I just looked under my 2001 cherokee sport 4.0 and I can only find two and they are by the exhaust manifold close to the intake?/ It looks like they are before and after the cats. Anyway I looked up parts and at advanced auto the oem replacement by ntk part # 23506 that sells for $59.99 amazon.com same part and part # is $26.92 that is the upstream sensor. The other part # they list is for the downstream sensor and that is part #23099 ntk advanced auto price is $66.99 amazon.com is $ 36.75.. This is why I was shopping hope this gives you a little more information I am going to check again tom to see if their is a third or fourth sensor I only found two , but it is dark eye`s are getting old lol!! and truck does not have a lift it is my daily driver good luck Bill

Does the image below illustrate your exhaust system? If so, the Oxygen Sensor part numbers are listed. Or do you have the single exhaust pipe system without the dual mini-cats? If so you only need part number 23151 for the upstream/pre-cat position, and part number 23099 for the downstream post-cat position.

Chances are you need ALL sensors. RockAuto is very reasonably priced. The sensors really do have a limited lifetime as they wear out and get gunked up. The PCM actually uses all sensors in setting the fuel mix, so for best performance and efficiency all should be up to snuff.

2000 still had the "Federal" old-style emissions, I've noticed that almost all 2001 are the California type.

The 2000 model year came with dual mini-cats for California emissions and without the dual mini-cats for Federal emissions. For the 2001 model year, dual mini-cats where installed on all XJ's (4.0 L), called 50 States emissions.

The 2000 Federal exhaust manifold had the split dual runner configuration but no mini-cats.

I think all 2000 XJ's for Europe export had no mini-cats.

Yeah - I should have written "had the Federal Emissions as an option"
