As everyone else said before, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! The wires on my Cat O2 were riped out by some limbs, replaced sensor and PO141 came back after a day. Then PO135 the same day. Replaced front sensor #1 which cleared it for a couple days, then the CEL came on again. I was worried it was the ECM. The fuse was blown. Thanks again!

The fuse box is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. The fuses i am pointing at are the O2 censor heater fuses.

Awesome!! Same problem and fix here. CEL popped a few days ago, had the ECM scanned and it came back with P0132, 135, 138, and 141. The wiring on the upstream O2 sensor was chaffing against the FWD drive shaft slide joint. The harness was WAY too long as verified when I bought the OE replacement which came with much shorter harness. The new sensor cleared 135 and 141 but even after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery the CEL would reappear and the engine would chug and hesitate. Went Google surfing and found this thread. MUCHAS GRACIAS to dudels99!!! Found a blown 20A fuse, replaced it and reset battery power. No CEL and the engine runs like a champ now!

I have the same problem with two of my offroad Cherokees but the fuse only last a few min on both and all new sensors on both. Looking for someone that has any knowledge of why

I know this is a crazy old post BUT:

I cant begin to thank you enough. Just spent 3 hrs repairing a shredded wiring harness for my downstream o2 sensor - you all know the drill hah. CEL goes off, day later CEL comes on now its my o2 sensor heaters

However, thanks to this post I checked my fuses before ripping that &&$*@*$ wiring harness out and soldering everything, everywhere. Bingo Bango theres a blown fuse.

MY MAN!!!!

I have a similar issue. Its throwing both p0132 and p0138 on the cel. 2 brand new oem ntk sensors. All fuses are fine and accounted for and the engine will still sputter and stall at idle and chokes down rendering the tgrittle useless until it clears up and im getting rather ahitty mileage. Between 12 to 15 mpg.

i was having the same idle issues, but no CEL. Decided it was prob the tps so I pulled it and cleaned it off. The next day, CEL comes on and I get the codes run. What do you know?? O2 sensors. I went ahead and replaced the tps (it was the original), but I’m still having the codes with rough idle/no power. I’ll be checking the fuses tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

So the fuse was blown. I replaced it, drove 15 miles but still had the idle issue. Checked the fuse again and it was blown again. I guess I will be searching for a short tomorrow. :/

I wish mine was that simple. Ive got good fuses and everythi ng has good continuuty but has 02 codes and rough idle if left at idle for long. Pulled the upstream sensir to bypass the cat and ut ran consustent but ran rich. Will be replacing the cat soon and then the tps. The whole jeep is original on mine.

I already replaced the TPS (it was original), but it didn’t help very much. I slid underneath for a few minutes and couldn’t find anything obvious. Hopefully it will be a quick (cheap) fix.

I’m not sure on the CAT, but I got my TPS off of rockauto for $15 with shipping and it came in after only two days.
