Default NP231 Rebuild

OK, so I bought a used NP231 at Pull a Part so I can rebuild it and not have the XJ down. I ordered a master rebuild kit with bearings, seals, and shift fork pads. I also ordered a new chain and an AA SYE to get rid of the hack and tap on it currently. I'm only going 33 or 35 in tires and keeping the 4.0 so am I correct in thinking the standard planetary and chain will be up to the task? Also is there anything I should change like the oil pump or pickup? Any advice or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

That should be all u need. The planetaries will be just fine. If u are bored and like to tinker with stuff, u can read into the dodge 241 6-gear planetary and the wider chain upgrade. And if u want to do something fancy. U could do Teraflex 2LO kit.

Thanks XJ, Im looking into the 2lo kit. Im running a spartan in the front, so this sounds perfect. Although seems expensive for what it is
