It just came to me in another thread. Sometimes the soldered connections break in the PCM. Why not pull off the cover and check to make sure the're all good.

If those pins are all OK then take the PCM apart and look for more broken soldered pins (GC but same as XJ):

Just bought a PCM a 252 from a wreckers in Perth probably the last 252 in Australia man I made some calls so at $215 posted to me I will try a different PCM

Are you going to take the old one apart and see if it's fixable?

to tell you the truth Dave51 I don't know I will just ne happy to get the XJ going at this stage I have been pulling my hair out for a month now trying to fix this But I am certainly not going to throw the original PCM in the bin

Well you cant complain about Australia Post .... Express Post worth the $15 Perth on Monday ....... Blackall Thursday
I have my PCM Raining here in the Outback so I have to wait a bit until it dries up Could this be a case of Murphy's Law/Luck?..... Car is Fixed .. Rain in the Outback ..... Cant go anywhere for at least a Week
