Today I was making my commute (13 miles) to work, right about when I was getting off the freeway, the engine light came on and my power weirdly decreased. Got to my garage, turned it off, then it wouldnt start. Waited a few minutes and it fired right up, but the light is still on. Now, around the city it feels fine, but on the freeway, I can feel a huge loss of power. It's a year 2000 with 120K for miles. Does ANYONE know what is up with this?!?! Any input much appreciated! Thanks!!!

 

Take is to Autozone or equivalent and have them scan the computer. They should do it for free, and it will give you a better idea of where to start.

 

try resetting the computer

Get the codes read first resetting it wont fix the problem!!
