Not charging!
Hi everyone i'm new to this site and decided to join for my father. My pops has a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.0L engine, we installed a new battery, new battery terminals (+ and- side), new alternator, and serpentine belt. I used my multimeter at the battery and at the alternator and it reads 11.96 volts ( with every electrical stuff turned off ). Can anyone help point me in the right direction of what else I can check or might be the problem on why it's not charging?

Double check all your work. Since your problem is obviously related to something you did, follow every wire you messed with and make sure it is correct. You could have a bad alt, or a wire not connected correctly, etc.

for future reference, to test an alternator while still on the vehicle, have it running and take a screwdriver and see if it will magnetically stick to the alternator.
if the alternator is good, the screwdriver will stick to it like a magnet.
if not, the alternator is nfg.
