Hey guys I have a question. Yesterday I was crawling along in the mountain when I looked down at the temperature gauge and noticed that it was a bit above 210. A little while later when the temperature was around 220 The fan finally cut on. After the fan cut on the temperature dropped to 190 and the fan cut off. I have a 95 XJ and was wondering if this is normal or is there a problem with the fan.

 

sounds about right to me.

 

x2. mine always cuts on around thier. if your worried about temp get you some nice hood vents.

 

pretty normal for a jeep man. especially if its hot outside or on a steep decline or something it will get that hot.

 

stock elec fan comes on at 217. if you want it to come on sooner turn your defrost on
