I don't think you can misalign something. Glad you got it working.
I honestly do not know what the pulsating or grinding could be. Perhaps something is up with your throwout bearing or fork? Pulsing and grinding noises aren't good...

Had this on mine turned out it was the throw out bearing failing. I know it's been a while since last post found this while looking to fix my line on mine. Line blew this morning system only 2 years old had a 2 year warranty ran out last week lol thanks to what I read here I wI'll just replace the line at least I will have my jeep on the road by the end of the weekend not the end of the month.

I believe it does. Pre 91 the fuel pump relay handles most of that. I gather 91 on does have the ASD relay as a separate deal.
