I have a 1993 Cherokee4.0 and I can't get it to start.I replaced the distributor without marking it unfortunately.i THINK i FOUND tdc but maybe it,s wrong any ideas?I have spark and it cranks.

 

"I think I found" is not good enough. Yoy need to be sure.

Also, many of the diagrams & drawings of the spark plug wiring are incorrect. They are off by one cylinder. Doesn't work very well.

Correct spark plug wire arrangement. That means, NOT Haynes or Chiltons!
