i just rebuilt the t-case in my 96 cherokee 4.0 S.E.

when i got it all put back together and took it for a test drive neither my speedometer or my fuel gauges work... i checked all fuses (not sure if it matters or not), i know the speed sensor is plugged into the t-case. but i am not sure why they both would have stopped working...

if it helps i have the huge *** fuel gauge haha....

 

I would look at the fuse again. Im stopped and it was a fuse. But mine was everything speed,oil,fuel,temp, and tach

 

i think you knocked a wire loose in the harness somewhere. Check under where the wiring harness meets up
