No test procedure anywhere . You can buy tools to test them thought.

Edit: Actually I not even sure that is the right one but it is the only tester I can seem to find.

It's not as common as some of the other problems but still possible. The fact that he is getting spark to the cap but not to the plugs makes me wonder.

hommer, will that work with the stock fuel injection setup? i'm not familiar with how it is all integrated together, but i was under the assumption that the pickup coil had something to do with telling the injectors when to fire.

Yes the rotor turns, and the gear looked fine when I had it out to replace the pickup coil. Someone said something about checking injector pulse? But what would that have to do with no spark.

If you have no Injector Pulse and no Spark that usually narrows it down to Cam or Crankshaft Positioning Sensors. Pretty sure that was the direction he was going. In your case you can either test it with a Noid Light or since you have no spark just pull out a plug after cranking it and see if the plug is wet with gas.

Are you sure your distributor went back in the same way it came out?

I am very sure it is getting fuel, after cranking a few times the tail pipe reaks of raw fuel. so that means the injectors are fireing correct? If I unhook the crank sensor I lose the faint spark I had coming off of the coil. and the cam sensor is new. And yes I am sure the cap and plugs all went on the same exact way they came off. I'm just down to the computer now. correct? everything else is either tested good or replaced.

There is a ground to the engine block on the passenger side near the rear of the motor I would check that and clean it up it looks like the ICM and Cam Position Sensor/Pickup/Sync Sensor ground to.

alright, I cleaned the grounds and still nothing. I also checked every individual spark plug for spark and the very front one does have spark!! But that is the only one, and it is very weak, just like the weak spark from the coil.
