No spark in a 1989 jeep cherokee

I have replaced a brandnew ignitor control module in my 1989 4.0L 6 cyl jeep cherokee. I could not get any spark. what is the problem? somebody help me.

CPS has been checked and still no spark. Is there a certain distance between the flywheel and the tip of the sensor?

How did you check the old CPS?
