No Power with key turned back.

No Power with key turned back.
I bought a 1989 Jeep and the radio was on power all the time, had to turn it off with the power button. Well I took it off today and found no wire has power when I put the key back. So I had to wire it whe the key it turned forward. And now when I turn on the lights the radio turns on?? Anybody have this happen to them??
