No Heat
Alright so my heat has never worked since i've had the Jeep, about a year now. It blows neutral air out. But if I keep it off and then turn it on after while, its warm for a second or two then goes back to neutral. I've tried replacing the thermostat, and doing a heater core flush, and radiator flush.
Anybody have any ideas?

disconnect the feed and return lines at the firewall and flush heater core directly so you don't push debris through the entire cooling system.
or
do as stated above and remove core from under the dash and do it that way. lets you turn the core every which way to make sure you get every little bit out.

Hi,
Just throwing my 2 cents in here and I am by no means an expert. I just had a similar problem.. no heat just neutral air. It ended up being that the person I bought the cherokee from had removed the thermostat alltogether so that worked out when I put one back in it. Anyway my comment is.. you said that your heater worked for a few seconds.. I'm just wondering how that is possible at all with a clogged heater core and cold engine? Maybe it flows very slowly into the heater core after you kill it and once you turn on the engine again that warm coolant is quickly cooled off? I dont know just throwing that out there. Maybe a problem with the actual control is what I am suggesting but definitely be certain you are flushed out well first.
