No headlights, dash, brake lights, and fuel pump stays on
1989 Cherokee Laredo. I pulled into a gas station and my jeep shut off. It started right up but I had no headlights, dash lights, tail lights, brake lights or hazards. The blinkers work. I also can't get it out of park. I had it towed home. I replaced the headlight switch and fixed a short in my trailer light harness. It seemed to fix the prombems and I drove it the next day. As I parked that night I noticed the fuel pump stayed on after I shut it off and had the key out. So now all of the previous promblems are back plus the fuel pump staying on. Any ideas? Is it a short somewhere? Ignition switch? All the fuses look good. I pulled the fuel pump relay and it stayed on. I don't know what else to check.

Yes, like 4 years ago. I ended up taking it to a auto electric shop. It took them several hours to find the problem. It ended up being an electrical short back behind one of the headlights. Ended up costing like $350.
