Hi guys,

Had my 2000 4.0Ltr Cherokee Orvis for 3 months now and all has been fine and dandy but out driving this weekend and, 1st the speedo and rev gauge go dead and then all the other (battery, oil, temp, water pressure) all went dead too. Also the mileometer and all the cruise control stuff on the steering wheel has died too. I have dash lights but no readings from the gauges.

Since I've had the jeep there was a strange issue with the headlights that you can only turn them off when the motor's running. If you pushed in the switch with the motor off then they'd stay on - bit weird. Is this typical.

Is this just a short somewhere or could it be a fuse?

Very grateful for any help. Using my GPS to judge my speed and tarcking my fuel consumption is going to get pretty boring, pretty quick.
