My radio was hiked, had bare wires in the dash, hit a huge bump, heard a spark sound, dash lights went out. Everything still works except the dash (gauge/ heater control lights). I've replaced fuses, replaced the headlamp switch, have inspected all the wires behind the dash, nothing looks melted,overheated, or burnt, im out of ideas, i am not intelligent when it comes to electrical!!!!!! BTW... headlight switch in a 94 xj sucks donkey ^$$ to change..... Any input is appreciated, at this point, positive or negative will humor me!! thanks in advance!!!!!!

tailights still fully functional??? they have a safety feature on the XJ's to where if your tailights are out then your dash lights won't work...

All running lights work, head, tail, brake lights 4 ways, turn signals, just NO DASH LIGHTS!!! Fuses were replaced, headlight switch replaced, inspected for burnt wires, found no problems.

different year xj fuse do different things compare the fuse to yours for dash lights
