Ok guys have 96 with 4liter auto, i get back in after putting gas in and turn the key over and lose all the power in the cab? hmmm thats weird try it again same thing so i see the positive cable is swelled up where its fused to the terminal. so i put a new end on and clean it up hook it back up and... same thing. try to cross the starter posts same thing. the power will come back after about 20 seconds, try to turn it over same deal. Any ideas? starter maybe? solenoid stuck? appreciate the help.

battery is good tried to jump did not help.

 

Check the battery connections, do a voltage drop test between the battery and the cable end at the starter.
