Hey all, I'm new here, just got a 96 2door cherokee (4.0) yesterday. (sorry, I don't even know a model or style , just 2 door cherokee).
So I got it for a good price, but it has 3 basic issues I have to work out.
1) has no brake lights
2) has no turn signals
3) drivers side head light is dim
I mention the head light only because I'm not sure if it somehow affects the other 2, pretty sure thats just a bad ground. But I have no clue on the brakes or turn signals. I have a towing harness, and kind of figure its probably in there, but I looked at all that and it isn't corroded or broken. I have tail lights, head lights, dash lights, just no turn signals or brake lights.
I was reading the forum last night and plan on checking my combination flasher today, along with my fuses, but beyond that I have no clue.

checking fuses is first then bulbs then wiring has this been done yet

check your brake light switch and your signal flasher... make sure they are plugged in all the way.. and cleaned and have no junk built up on them... and buy new head lights if they look old.. sometimes they are just that old... not replaced at the same time...
