Ok, if any of you remember my other posts, this Jeep has been a wiring nightmare, I had to run all new hot wires to the switch to get my lights back, now during that whole time my brake lights and turn signals always worked. About 4 days ago I noticed I didnt have any brake lights when I pressed the pedal, Since then I have replaced the brakelight switch, both bulbs, the fuse and still nothing, Even tried running power right to the fuse and still got nothing, I have this Jeep traded next week and need to get this fixed ASAP, Plus Im still driving this every day with a dead inspection sticker so I dont need the cops to have another reason to pull me over

No brake light can be a bad switch or just bad bulbs. Those are the most common problems. Since you have eliminated those try the ground. That would be my next step.

I believe all of the rear lighting grounds can be found tied to a chassis post behind the driver's side cargo area liner - start your ground search there.

Got it fixed... It was a broken power wire going to the switch and a bad ground on the passenger side
