Default No blower in 98 XJ

This the problem on my girlfriends 98 XJ with a 4.0. Here's the story:

Heater core was leaking so I pulled the dash out, and replaced the heater core. Got everything 3/4 back together except the plastic panels and the blower does not work. It worked before the teardown of her dash, I've checked the HVAC unit is plugged in, blower motor is plugged in and the fuses are good for the blower, where else do I check here? Its got me scratching my head.

Thanks.

Here's an HVAC blower schematic if it helps.

Note all the connectors in the circuit.

I'll go take a look at the relay and the green connector to make sure they're connected securely again, thanks Ken!

Does nothing electrically?

Did you check the fuses shown on the drawing?

Correct. I checked fuse 26 on the interior and fuse 6 on the engine side. Both are good. I'm only able to "look" at the fuses now because my dmm and test light are at work til tomorrow evening.

I did just find this connector tucked way under the dash but I can't find the other end if there is one

Did you reconnect the large resistor that is inside the heater box ..... it's under the dash, in the box, over by the passenger door.

This video will give you an idea of what it looks like and where it is.....

Yes that's connected.. i just noticed an electrical smell and smoke coming out of the drivers side cowl behind the hood but can't seem to find where it's coming from. I'm not leaving the battery connected long as I don't want a fire. Starting to get irritated.

Pass side footwell. But now I'm hunting down why I've got electrical smoking.

Actually, it's fuse 25 in the JB.

Do you have overhead console or mini lamp functions. I think that white connector is for those functions.
