ok i just got it the guy says the 4x4 works great now i cant get it to work the case gose in to 4 lo i have lo gears no frount drive he put a cable runin from the frount end to a lever in the xj to pull the cable put nothin happends

 

He installed the mod that uses a cable and/or spring to actuate the fork that engages the front driveshaft, rather than a somewhat unreliable vacuum motor. Look on the back of your front axle to the left of your coil spring and u-bolts (view from behind the front left wheel). You should see the other end of that cable going into a housing with four bolts. Unbolt em' and let us know what you find in there.

 

i did that and the cable was broke in the plastic so i replaced it works great now thanks
