no 4wd

no 4wd

when i put my 99 classic in 4wd i get a loud clicking noise from the left front hub. Then it wont come out of 4wd. bad actuator?

Maybe bad u-joint or broken outer axle shaft.Put it on jack stands and spin the tire.

I dont think the 99 have the actuator.Its pull its in push down should be out of 4wd.When you disengadge try backing up about ten feet that should help.
