Newbie question: front end jacking points?
Since I only just bought an xj I'm still finding my way around things. The one thing I can't do it find a way to jack the front end up (both sides at once)
on my Liberty KJ, I would just simply put the floor jack under the diff since it's in the middle. On the xj, it's off to the side. So not an option. I tried the frame on the side but that only raises the suspension and barely the tire.
I've checked online and people are vague. Some say I can just use the axle. Others say I'll bend it that way. What's your take? Also where can I put a safety stand on the drivers side. It's very cluttered there.
Right now I just used the left passenger side of the axle and jacked it and safety standed it. (It's on a stand for the night) how do I get the right side up without using my sketchy rusted frame?
