Hey everybody just wanted to say hello, my name is Bill and I am new to the site just found out about it seem`s really good, alot of information. I have 3 xj`s and two wranglers actually I have one xj 2000 2dr with a 3 in lift and a 97 wrangler that I converted to a 5.2 v-8 the other trucks belong to my son and daughter I just get to pay the insurance on them!! lol,lol I need help I am looking for a how to section on a head gasket replacement for a 1990 xj that I just picked up.. I have already taken it apart and got the head back from the machine shop and want to put it back together. I have been searching every forum on this site but can not find a write up on how to put it back together, I mainly need to know torque specs and order to install head bolts and rocker arms or valve train assembly.. I am not a mechanic basically a parts changer.. I am semi retired so please be gentle not to good on the computer or naviagating the web any help or advice would be greatly appreciated either way have a good day Bill

 

not sure if there is a write up out there already or not. use the search option on this site and if you still have no luck. start a new thread in CHEROKEE TECH. Trust me you will get your answer there.

thanks I have been trying for a few day`s nothing in the search forum`s unless I am useing it wrong.. Just from all the threads I read I know their are alot of guy`s who really know their tech stuff I was alway`s good at changing parts.. lol but I am going to give this one to my niece (college car)super clean 90,000 miles drives beautifull and really has to be dependable thanks again Bill
