Default Newbe here, need help

I just bought my FIRST jeep. Its a 88 cherokee with the 6cyl. auto. love the jeep, except... it looks like a 2wd its so low! I cant believe these things came this way from the factory. So like all you guys. Im wanting to lift it. I have been checking all over the place. from ordering rc 4" leafs in the rear, to buying 2" spacers for the front.
I have a set of 2" spacers for the front, but nothing for the rear. the rear leafs are pretty bad, I know that those are going to be replaced. but the front?
where do I find the grand cherokee springs? junkyards? online?
the grand cherokee springs and my 2" spacers will match the rear 4", right?
will I need lower control arms?
which grand cherokee v8's do i look for?

Thanks for the help in advance

Get the front coils from a V8 Grand Cherokee (ZJ). They were built between '93 and '98. The Grands are ZJ's, Cherokees are XJ's.
And Welcome to CF.

If you can't find them used, here's the part #s for the Up-Country ZJ springs. >>->http://www.geocities.com/frankieroti/UpCountinstall.htm
Yes, they're surprisingly cheap at the dealer.
And Welcome to CF.

For a 4" lift you'll need at least new longer shocks and you'll need to modify/extend your brake lines. And an SYE or t-case drop might be a good idea also. JMO
