New XJ owner
Hello all,
I picked up my new to me 2001 XJ limited last weekend. So far I enjoy driving it. It is silver with a gray leather/vinyl interior and has heated seats that, of course, do not work. 123,000 miles and in extremely nice condition.
It has an oil leak which I'm assuming is from the oil filter adapter or RMS. I haven't dug into it yet. Although, it started to leak a little more after I did an oil change yesterday. Not sure what's up with that.
I'm not looking to upgrade it really, but I noticed that individuals here were saying to install 703 injectors for better MPG. Is that possible on a 2001? I can get a set from the local yard. I'm not expecting fantastic MPG (I get about 17.4 according to my overhead console), but if I throw in some injectors free from the junk yard, then why not?
All help is appreciated

You will get better throttle response and idling but not necessarily better MPG from the upgraded injectors.
Here's all the info you will need to find the proper injectors for your XJ.
