sorry guys i know the are already a few post like this but nothing i have seen has solved my problem yet. left turn light on dash staying on and outside turn only works as turn no parking light and when flashing it is super dim.relpaced relay under dash and new bulbs but still same situation any and all advice would be greatly appreciated...

had the same problem on my 1990 cherokee... i replaced the socket to the bulb.mine was the passenger side front on the fender not the grill .. and problem fixed... its kind of a common problem

Definitely socket or wiring.

On a related note, I had a strange issue with my old 77 Cutlass where the front turn signals would be dim, but when I turned the headlights on, the parking lots would come on full brightness and the blinkers wouldn't work at all.

Turns out I had the bulb in upside down, which I didn't know was possible.
