Question new trail rig

ok guys i am buying my first completly stock 96 xj 4x4 for $600 the told me it has front end wobble at 45 to 60 i know what that could be but any sugestions for stuff to look for when i go to look at it

Cherokees are one of the easier vehicles I have owned to work on. So if anything mechanical needs repair I say get it. Now for the rust issues, make sure you poke around underneath the whole thing. Some people can hide rust ( or bondo the floors smooth it out and then undercoated like mine was. stupid PO). I mean literally poke around. Good luck.

see in my signature... the "death wobble" is too easy not to fix and the guy could sell it for more if he did his research

pls take pics and post them
look for:
scrapes dents scratches on the UNDERSIDE of the truck.. the body is road wear.. its underneath that tell if its abused
take it to a coin pressure wash (must have a degrease option..) and degrease the motor and under the truck.. not just high pressure hot water.. you will get dirty do be ready.. drive it for 30 min.. you will know if there is a leak you should know about.. but for 600?! buy it

inline 6, 5 speed manual, 2 door.. I hope

well yea the death wobble stuff i know about i have a 98 xj lifted 3 1/2 on a rough country lift with 30/9.5r15 bf a/t but its the 2wheel drive an i replaced the track bar i am working next on the discos on it i just got the rusty discos for it an also getting the 1 1/2 drop pitman arms. i am beefing the rear end an springs on my 98 cause ill mostly be using that to pull my 96 once i am done with it i have had the 98 now for a yr an i love it cant wait to get my 96 4x4 home
