If you can afford it get the full leaf pack. It is easy to do and in the end will last the longest. If I had a 2000 or newer I would do a full lenght add a leaf unless the miles are high. What can you afford and what are your goals?

better deal, add-a-leaf. save like $250. it isnt hard to do yourself. just unscrew pin and if it breaks, like my 2000s did. just hammer it out and your new lift should come with two new ones. one of my new ones was threaded incorrectly and i had to end up spending $10 to get a new pack. a whole new leaf will be stiff since it isnt broken in yet. if you have the money to buy new full leafs get em if you want em. but id rather spend the money on a new bumper or tires

if i go with a 3.5 inch lift what additional mods would i have to do or will it be able to just be bolted on? cause i know if you go a certain height you gotta start gettin other suspention mods in order for it to fit...

adjustable track bar or else you will run the thread out of your tires instantaneously. i have not tread left on my front tires, luckily i just order 32 pro comps

i would to with extended brake lines. mine were $100 for a 4-6" lift. i went with crown industrial 5 layer custom lines. i endedup ripping my hardline cus i went mudding without extended brake lines.

you and also get an SYE or tcase drop kit.
