new problem started today....

Engine: 4.0L
new problem started today....
well i dk if its a problem as much as it is an annoyance but anyway i'll be in 2wd and my part time light will light up very dim and it won't shut off unless i shift it into 4wd and then back into 2wd. so what's going on? any ideas?
