Default New Noise - Clutch??

Hey guys I've got a 98' XJ w/aprox 215K miles on it.. Standard Trans..

Sitting at an idol the other day waiting to pickup my daughter I noticed a new noise coming from the bell housing/clutch area...It stops when I push the clutch pedal in (disengage).. Is it the throw out bearing???

I haven't done anything with the clutch since I bought it w/ 198K miles on it.. What's your best guess? and Do I need to start shopping for a new clutch?

Hard to say it could be the input shaft bearing, how does it shift?

Is it almost a whiny squeak? Mine did that until I replaced the clutch, Had a bad throwout bearing.

No squeek just a metal on metal sound... I'm assuming its the bearing.

Transmission oil up to spec? Worn throw-out bearings usually grind worse when the clutch is disengaged.
