I just recently purchased a 98 4dr xj and it came with an uninstalled 4.5" skyjacker kit. My question is what size tire can I fit under there also I do not mind cutting the fenders I was planning on doing that and making some custom flares. Also what size wheels and offset do you run?

thanks
mike

with cutting you will fit 33 nicely. 4 or 4.5" backspacing.

I am going to be doing a bunch of stuff with the jeep from just daily driving to some mudding and then some snow trips. I am looking for the best all around tire with the best bite that really fills out the wheel wells good. I like the beefy tire look if theres anything like that.

I can get a good deal on some 35's is it necessary to swap the gears or is it just going to hurt my bottom end

I would recommend getting the pro comp at's or extreme at's. I have the regular at's as my jeep is my daily driver. They work great on and offroad and if you rotate them and keep your jeep aligned they last foreve
