new lift please :help:
Hi im a new member to cherokee forum
this forum and i wanna purchase a RE 4.5 super flex lift kit and i have a few questions that i need help with.
1. I am very handy with my hands and wanted to know how hard is it to install on my 98 cherokee.
2. What are tools will i need that are out of the ordinary.
3. What will need to be done or purchased to make it street worthy after the lift is installed.[brake lines drive shafts]
4. Will the stock axles handle 32'' bfg's t/a ko without any problems [not going to be the living crap out of it mostly going to be driven on 2 tracks and on the street.
5. Also what is your say on JCR off road. [good-bad]
Thank you for all your help

Just a little info first:
Year of jeep (never mind, just saw 98 cherokee). I'm blind.....
Rear axle dana 35 or chrysler 8.25? (dana 35 is oval, 8.25 is oval but with flat bottom)
1. I am 17 and very handy with my hands and wanted to know how hard is it to install on my 98 cherokee.
RE Superflex kit can be installed with basic tools. You can do it alone or with a partner. Having someone to help sure...HELPS.
2. What are tools will i need that are out of the ordinary.
Basic tools, metric and sae sockets.
C-press (ball joint press) (optional)
Jack
2 or 4 jack stands
Spring compressors(optional)
PB Blaster
Cutoff wheel or sawzall possibly needed
Impact gun would make things easier
pickle fork
tie rod puller for steering stabilizer (optional)
Angle finder to find angle for rear driveshaft
Transfer case lube and RTV for SYE
3. What will need to be done or purchased to make it street worthy after the lift is installed.[brake lines drive shafts]
Front and rear brake lines. 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ front and rear brake lines (3" longer) or Dodge dakota rear brake lines (longer than YJ lines) or SS brake lines. Your choice.
Slip Yoke Eliminator kit. (www.performanceoffroadcenter.com $170
) and new double cardian rear driveshaft or front xj shaft. Your choice. Axle shims will be needed to adjust pinion so driveshaft is parallel with the pinion.
Alignment will need to be done after lift is installed.
Possible E-brake cable lengthening.
4. Will the stock axles handle 32'' bfg's t/a ko without any problems [not going to be the living crap out of it mostly going to be driven on 2 tracks and on the street.
Yes.
