Im still learning how to work on my jeep ive only had for 2 years so bare with me. Im having some trouble with these new headlights I just installed on my 99 XJ. I was tired of the dark stock headlights I had so I bought some LED ones (but not the typical LED ones that everyone gets that look like the lighbars). Everything works on it but I noticed that when I turn my lights off they still glow a little bit when the battery/car is on, and sometimes (but not often) the lights will turn themselves back on after I shut the jeep off. I was just wondering if this is normal with LED headlights? Or is there some other wiring problem going on. The headlights are plug n play too.

There is a headlight ground near the ecu under the hood. It is on the driver side near the Airbox. The ground is on the backside of the ecu if your standing in front of the jeep. If this is loose it can cause the headlights and the other lights to act abnormal as you are describing.
Also the newer cherokees have timed headlights. If you turn off the jeep then your headlights they will stay on for a timed amount. If the ground is loose when you headlights are off they may be turned on (work opposite as they should)
